How Mandy's Sports Pool Works
Straight-up point differential — not against the spread.
Core Rules
Pick one team each week to win straight up.
Positive points: if your team wins 31–10, you gain +21.
Negative points: if your team loses 14–17, you lose −3.
No repeats: you cannot pick the same team twice in the regular season.
Bye weeks: you cannot pick a team that is on a bye — they have no game that week.
Multipliers: you get one ×2 and one ×3 for the season. Both must be used before the season ends — it does not matter whether ×2 or ×3 comes first.
Last two weeks: any multiplier you still have left must be used that week. If you leave ×1 selected, the site applies the required multiplier automatically (×2 or ×3 — order does not matter).
Missed week: if you never submit a pick before every remaining game that week has kicked off, you score -5.
Example
You pick the Chiefs with ×2. They win 27–20 (margin +7). You score +14.
Next week you pick the Jets (no multiplier). They lose 10–24 (margin −14). You score −14.
Locks & Scoring
Each team locks at that game's kickoff, not the whole week. Miss Thursday night? You can still pick a Sunday or Monday team you haven't used yet. Once every remaining game has started, that week is closed for anyone without a pick — they receive -5 for the missed week (no auto-pick). A player's pick is revealed to the pool when that team's game is final. Standings only add points from finished games and missed-week penalties.
